Torsten Gieseke appointed as new CEO of the Becker Group

Bönen, 1 February 2026 – As of today, Torsten Gieseke assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Becker Group. In this capacity, he will be responsible for steering the company as a whole.

In addition, Mr Gieseke joins the management boards of the subsidiaries Becker Aluminium-Service GmbH and Umformtechnik Stendal GmbH. One of Mr Gieseke’s key priorities will be to further strengthen sales and to consistently align the portfolio with the evolving requirements of our customers.

Torsten Gieseke succeeds Guido Kerkhoff, who had taken over the management of the Becker Group on an interim basis in addition to his role as CEO of Klöckner & Co SE, the parent company of the Becker Group.

Over 20 Years of Experience in Customer-Focused Industrial Markets

Torsten Gieseke holds a degree in industrial engineering and, prior to joining the Becker Group, held various technical and commercial management positions, including at thyssenkrupp in the automotive and steel sectors. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at Knauf Interfer, where he was responsible for the strategic development of market- and customer-oriented business models. Mr Gieseke possesses recognised expertise in the development of innovative, value-adding offerings and has a strong track record in the successful implementation of growth programmes.

Going forward, the management of the Becker Group will consist of Torsten Gieseke (CEO), Joerg Kaib (CFO), and Bernd Guttek (COO).
