GUIDO KERKHOFF (CEO)

Following his studies in business administration at Bielefeld University and Saarland University, Guido Kerkhoff worked from 1995 to 1996 in group accounting at the energy utility Vereinigte Elektrizitätswerke Westfalen (VEW) AG. Between 1996 and 2002, Mr. Kerkhoff held different positions with Bertelsmann AG, in areas including corporate financial reporting/controlling, where he headed the Department for Projects and Policies.

In 2002, Mr. Kerkhoff moved to Deutsche Telekom AG, where he served in various leadership roles in finance. In 2009, he joined Deutsche Telekom AG’s management board, where he was initially responsible for the Southern and Eastern Europe regions before overseeing all European operations from 2010.

After stepping into the role of Member of the Management Board and CFO at thyssenkrupp AG in April 2011, Mr. Kerkhoff served as the company’s CEO from September 2018 to September 2019.

Mr. Kerkhoff has been a Member of the Management Board since September 1, 2020 and since May 13, 2021 he became Chairman of the Management Board of Klöckner & Co SE.

As CEO, he also forms the management team of Becker Stahl-Service GmbH together with Jörg Kaib. He has also joined the management boards of Becker Aluminium-Service GmbH and the Becker subsidiary Umformtechnik Stendal GmbH.

   

JÖRG KAIB (CFO)

With effect from September 1, 2024, Jörg Kaib has taken over as new CFO of Becker Stahl-Service GmbH. Mr. Kaib has many years of experience in all areas of financial management and has held numerous management positions.

He previously worked as CFO at Adient Aerospace - a joint venture between the automotive seating supplier Adient and the US aerospace technology manufacturer Boeing. At Adient Aerospace, he was responsible for the entire financial area as well as for the management of the German company. He was also involved in the founding of Adient Aerospace and previously accompanied the spin-off of Adient from its parent company Johnson Controls.

Mr. Kaib takes over the position from Dr. Oliver Falk, who took over the CFO position at Becker Stahl-Service on an interim basis on 1 July. Together with Guido Kerkhoff (CEO), he will form the management board of Becker Stahl-Service with immediate effect.
