Torsten Gieseke has more than 20 years of management experience in industry. After studying industrial engineering, he held various technical and commercial management positions and supported companies in different market and transformation phases.

His career milestones include thyssenkrupp, where he held senior positions in the automotive and steel sectors. He then joined Knauf Interfer as a managing director, where he was responsible for the strategic and operational management of business units and their further development in a challenging industrial environment.

In these roles, he gained extensive experience in managing complex organizations, implementing efficiency and growth programs, and expanding market- and customer-oriented, high-value-added business models.

Since February 1, 2026, Torsten Gieseke has been part of the management team at Becker Stahl-Service GmbH, together with Jörg Kaib (CFO) and Dr. Bernd Guttek (COO). He has also joined the management teams at Becker Aluminium-Service GmbH and Becker subsidiary Umformtechnik Stendal GmbH.

With effect from September 1, 2024, Jörg Kaib has taken over as new CFO of Becker Stahl-Service GmbH. Mr. Kaib has many years of experience in all areas of financial management and has held numerous management positions.

He previously worked as CFO at Adient Aerospace - a joint venture between the automotive seating supplier Adient and the US aerospace technology manufacturer Boeing. At Adient Aerospace, he was responsible for the entire financial area as well as for the management of the German company. He was also involved in the founding of Adient Aerospace and previously accompanied the spin-off of Adient from its parent company Johnson Controls.

Dr. Bernd Guttek studied mechanical engineering and earned his doctorate in reactor technology. After holding various positions in the automotive supply industry, he took on management roles in the area of operations.

Most recently, Dr. Guttek worked at Adient, where he was responsible for several European plants. With decades of international experience in production and supply chain management, he has extensive expertise in the efficient design and development of operational structures.

Since August 15, 2025, Dr. Bernd Guttek has been strengthening the management team at Becker in the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
